Newcastle Aerodrome (EINC) is located in a scenic area, next to the coast. It’s a little off the beaten track by ground, but is easy to find by air. The field consists of 3 Hangers, a grass runway, and facilities are limited to A/G… But all is not lost, the field is well within walking distance of the village, and when the field is operational, it is never to busy. Dolly’s Grove, County Meath
|
Dolly’s Grove is a STRICTLY PRIVATE airfield on near Dunboyne. The site is off limits to enthusiasts and pilots, but we feel that can’t stop us from at least telling you about the site- but we really mean it- don’t bother the owners, they’ve got the law on their sides!!! According to local historians, apparently the aerodrome is a little feat of engineering. The site was origninally owned by The Monaco Embassy (We Think). There is a runway, over 500m long in Tarmac (Probably Under 1000m), several hangers, including one, which has a helipad on rails that retracts into a hanger. |
